Originally a medical engineer and have worked in the aviation industry. My journey into tech stemmed from a desire to to bridge the gap between engineering and data understanding. During my time working on components for oil heat management in aero derivative engines, I encountered a gap between engineering design and data analysis and I realized the potential for data to enhance engineering processes and create better designs. This experience fuelled my transition into tech. I then went through self-learning courses on Udacity  and then building projects where I had to learn technologies such as  Kafka and Redis.  I graduated from Digital Futures Data Engineering pathway, where I learnt cloud services such as AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Data Engineer, ETL and Data Modelling. I am working on their client side at a Swiss bank as Cloud Dev Ops engineer.
